I had read the book as a child and seen the film more recently. I saw a copy in a charity shop and thought I'd give it a go. I really enjoyed the writing style and how easily it flowed. There was very strong character development and I really started to feel attachment to Stanley and Zero.
I read the book very quickly as it is only 233 pages but also because it was such a strong story line I didn't want to put it down!
I gave this book 4 out of 5 stars!
